Meet Cyn

Cynthia is a powerhouse in leggings and a low bun, part yoga sage, part business strategist, and all heart. She’s the kind of teacher who can cue your mula bandha and your mindset, hold space for transformation, and move through a hot class like a warrior queen.

As co-founder of Moontara Yoga School, Cyn has built a sanctuary for serious seekers, a space where grounded technique meets soulful exploration. She doesn’t just lead flows; she weaves them. From intentional sequences to restorative journeys infused with energy work, every offering becomes both a practice and a portal.

She’s also an inversion junkie, always ready to flip perspective, on the mat and off. Cyn is known for holding space without fluff, making yoga philosophy feel alive and relatable, crafting retreats that feel like forest fairytales, and turning ancient wisdom into modern magic.

As co-founder of Moontara Yoga School, Nesrin brings years of experience, heart-led wisdom, and a calming clarity to every space she holds. Her teaching blends mindful movement with purposeful breath and a quiet power that invites students to soften, explore, and evolve.

Nesrin isn’t here to impress, she’s here to help you remember who you are. Her presence is steady, nurturing, and deeply intuitive, the kind of guide who helps people feel seen, safe, and supported as they grow.

Mitra N.

I signed up for yoga teacher training at Moontara Yoga + Wellness carrying so much self-doubt, lack of confidence, and fear. I knew I needed to shake things up and figure out what was next for me.  Before my accident, I moved through life with certainty and unshakable confidence. After, with constant chronic pain and everything that came with it, I felt like I had lost a big part of my identity. I walked into Cyn and Nes’s training with so much fear and excitement at the same time. What I found was so much more than I expected. From the very first weekend, they made me feel safe. They made me feel seen. They made me feel at home. Their warmth, honesty, and depth of knowledge created a space where I could finally exhale and slowly start rebuilding the parts of myself I thought I’d lost. Cyn and Nes don’t just teach yoga. They teach you how to come back to yourself. They challenge you with so much love, push you with so much patience, and hold space for every messy, beautiful, vulnerable moment along the way. The training was no joke, it was a full-on yoga boot camp. Long hours, deep work, physical demands, emotional unpacking, and zero shortcuts. They absolutely kicked my ass enough to help me remember my own strength. This training gave me far more than a certification. It gave me confidence, discipline, community, and a version of myself I had been trying to find again for a long time. More than anything, it opened a new horizon for me, a way forward where I can be of service and share what I’ve received with others who may be walking through their own healing. I’m deeply grateful for Cyn and Nes for their guidance, patience, honesty, and for believing in me when I was still learning how to believe in myself. Some teachers teach poses. Some teachers help change lives. They did both.
